Single on Valentine’s Day

“Go for long walks, indulge in hot baths, question your assumptions, be kind to yourself, live for the moment, loosen up, scream, curse the world, count your blessings, just let go, just be.” — Carol Shields

Being single, I am not celebrating Valentine’s Day with any lover. It will not be very bad after all.
I am not going to be miserable as I will be having a celebration with my awesome friends. It will be my friend’s birthday as well. Maybe a phone call from home which is about my family celebration for the special day. Wishes from dear people around.
Time to make this day a moment to start being a bit blurred and living simply. It’s okay to make mistakes but don’t dwell on them. We just don’t have enough time for crying over the mistakes. Stop being perfect, but being the beautiful you. Count your blessings, not your loss.
Be simple with people. Trust always. You can’t afford to miss a person who has no bad intention on you. I feel that you would rather get hurt than to miss anything you feel it’s the essence of love so strongly. Will you want to turn back in time and regret what you haven’t tried? There is nothing to lose for trying out. If not, you will never know and surely, you will keep wondering and imagining. What I would like to say is that…you will grow by experience. Life is happy sometimes, but sorrowful sometimes. Yet, the sun is just covered by clouds. Rainy days are for drawing rainbows.
Life quality needs not be judged by any achievement, circumstance and possession, but attitude. It’s about finding value in whatever you are doing now. Love your now. Of course, look around for what you love and just go for it.
